First off, an apology. Every Wednesday "BB4" episode -- tonight's (August 20) being no exception -- contains 47 minutes of talking heads. Alliances are reinforced or broken, strategies are strategized. There's barely any boob-adjusting, butt-ogling or even fish-eye eating. Wait patiently, however, as the coming eviction and Head of Household competition are sure to add some needed excitement.

Oh, who are we kidding?

When we last spoke, Jee had cut a deal with Jack and Erika to remain safely ensconced in the house for the week. This left Erika to win the Head of Household competition and gave her alliance with Jack a needed boost. Jun and Alison, meanwhile, struck up an unlikely union. Jun even wins Veto power, but chooses not to use it and goes back to her boob adjusting.

Let's all welcome Julie Chen, who tonight appears in a classy black cocktail dress that A) doesn't bare her shoulders at all, B) contains no glitter and C) has a hint of the "dominatrix" look to it. Grr, Julie. Very grr.

It's Day 47. Erika's won HoH for the first time, Jun won the Golden Veto for the first time, and everyone's stressed. In the Diary Room, Jun comments that the Dream Team/Three Stooges alliance made its members all the more vulnerable -- and that alliances (like the special sauce at McDonalds) are best kept secret.

Y'know, Alison and Jun really do fit together. They're the two Pinball Wizards of the house, bouncing back and forth between cliques. There's got to be a twist ...

Meanwhile, back at the Jerika ranch, Jack tells Erika to "keep stroking Robert" in an effort to win his favor if he's not voted for eviction. Never use the word "stroking" again, okay Jack? But, true to her word, Erika and Robert make a deal to stick together -- even if it means they've got to vote Daddy Jack off the island.

"Hell no," says Ali -- things can't be that smooth between Erika and Robert. Ali later tells Jun that they should vote off Robert first. Something about this makes Jun crack up with maniacal glee. I'm still trying to figure it out. There's got to be a twist ...

Back, "live" in the BB4 living room, Julie offers her usual pleasantries and mimics what it looks like when you care about what someone is saying. She asks Alison if she's learned anything new about Justin in the time they've lived in the house together.

"He's the most wonderful person I've ever met outside of this house." Not very convincing, sweetie.

Julie reminds us that only four votes will be cast tonight, but makes no mention of the votes being cast "live." This could only mean one thing -- either they know it's not suspenseful in the least, or they need the extra time at the end of the show for something special. I'm "evicting" the former. Jack, in the Diary Room, votes for Justin. One vote for Moe -- check.

We're back from commercial break. I realize I need to get TiVo.

C'mon, admit it. Robert's 7-year-old daughter, Elena, is pretty cute. She says she's most surprised to see him act funnier on the show that he acts at home. I'm sorry, Elena. That must be rough. He still loves you, though. Robert's ex-wife Natasha, mother of Elena, says Robert's a total charmer and can win over any woman with his amazing salsa-dancing skills. She also says that Robert won't ever settle down -- he's way too much of a ladies' man.

"I like to go home with a different woman every night," says Robert, in flashback. Real nice example to set for your daughter, yo.

However, Natasha makes it clear that Elena has Robert's heart. He lives and breathes for her. Let's just hope Natasha tells her to never marry anyone like her father -- ever.

Back to the game ... Julie interviews Erika in the HoH bedroom. Erika reveals that, while she may not have "thrown" the other HoH competitions, she knew she had to win this one due to the size of the target on her back. Also, even though she's made up with Robert, she doesn't think they can be friends outside the house. Smart thinking. Following this, Jee votes in the Diary Room to evict the salsa-dancin' hustler. That's one/one, for those keeping score.

Ah yes, the Three Stooges. This is their last chance to be together before they're torn asunder by the evil Chen. Is it me, or was the montage depicting their "friendship" laced with serious homoerotic overtones? The boys wrestling in the backyard, the boys feeding each other, the boys making food for each other ... it's quaint, and yet kinda scary. All three agree that they'll be friends forever. They're even emotional about it, the little darlings.

Ali and Jun are shown voting in the Diary Room. Neither's vote is actually heard, so it doesn't matter.

Before the eviction, Julie shows us a glimpse of life at the Jury House, otherwise known as "Club Med for Dummies." We see Dana, lounging around the pool.

"I'm a couple cabana boys away from Paradise," she says -- although I think "cabana boys" is euphemistic for "Justin."

Dana isn't surprised to see Nathan joining her at the Jury House. They seem to get along and gleefully watch some selected tapes of "BB4" footage. Nathan is still mad at Alison, as well he should be. Dana misses Justin more than she thought, as well she shouldn't be.

Finally ... by a vote of 3 to 1, Justin is voted out of the "BB4" household -- which only means one thing. I've cleverly deduced that, because Jee voted for Robert, the three others must've voted for Justin. So Alison is full of crap. Like we didn't know that already.

Nothing very important is revealed in Julie's interview with Justin. Jack thinks Justin should go into Federal law enforcement -- hilarious in and of itself. Jee will miss Justin, blah blah Dream Team cakes. Alison says "I'm proud to have you as my ex." What the hell does that even mean?

The HoH competition is, as usual, confusing. A version of bocce ball finds the remaining houseguests (sans Erika) trying to get their ball closest to the hole at the end of a ramp. If their ball falls in the hole, they're out. Alison throws the competition (as she mentioned she would), and Jee ends up winning handily. Robert is beyond stoked.

Finally, as Julie gets ready to put this madness to bed, she reveals a tasty bit of (showtime-consuming) info. A surprise (to be unveiled on Saturday's show) will test the houseguests' character -- and could potentially change the game. The houseguests are thoroughly confused, which is always good for a laugh. Stay tuned, America.
